Peer Reviewers Process
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
MSPJ applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review. Each manuscript is evaluated by a minimum of two (2) external reviewers with relevant expertise.
Review Workflow:
| Stage | Duration |
|---|---|
| Desk Review (initial screening by editor) | up to 7 days |
| Double-blind Peer Review | 21–30 days |
| Author Revision | 14–21 days |
| Editorial Decision | up to 7 days |
| Copyediting | 7 days |
| Layout | 7 days |
| Proofreading (author review of galley proof) | 5 days |
Average total time from submission to publication: 60–90 days.
Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations.
